Start Your Journey with Great Livin'

Great Livin’ strives to be a workplace that encourages employees to use the best parts of their unique personalities to help each individual with disabilities to live their greatest life. If you are passionate about your interests and hobbies and would like to share your enthusiasm with someone with a disability, we encourage you to become a part of our team.


When you join Great Livin’, you begin a six-month on-the-job training we call “Journey.” Journey covers every training topic with emphasis on creating connections. As you assist clients with daily needs, you will build and deepen relationships with the individuals you support. Regardless of the work task, whether it be cooking dinner, completing personal care, or supporting in the community, Journey is defined by the connections you make with those around you.

To join our direct care staff and begin your Journey, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Have a high school diploma or GED

  • Pass a criminal background screening

  • Submit to a TB test

  • Meet all training requirements
